Contract package from the approved fee
Once the principal approves the fee, Corpus fills WSDOT's Cost Plus Fixed Fee agreement from it, quotes the key clauses word for word, and exports a PDF marked as a draft.
What it does
The package has a cover with the fixed fee and maximum payable, Exhibit A (the RFQ tasks, cited), Exhibit D (cost computations from the approved fee) and Exhibit E (subconsultants), and key clauses quoted from the form with their pages.
Who uses it
Contracts administrators prepare the package. Only the principal approves it for signature; the roles tour shows that step, and it is not live in the demo.
Step by step in the demo

Open demo.salemwise.com/?path=principal in a browser on a laptop. The steps below are the ones we took on 2026-10-10, viewing as Priya Ramesh, PE (Principal).
- Approve the fee first; see the fee guide. Then click Contract under the RFQ line.
- Read the notice at the top. RFQ 25-01 requires the City's own agreement with no changes, so the demo says the clauses shown are the WSDOT form's standard language, not the City's.
- Check the cover line: in our run, fixed fee $16,053, approved $195,774 by Priya Ramesh, PE, and the same maximum payable.
- Type the fields Corpus never fills: agreement number, firm legal name, address, UBI, federal TIN, dates, management reserve and DBE participation. A line lists what is still to enter.
- Read Exhibits A, D and E and the quoted clauses, such as payment, termination and disputes. Each shows its form page and a Why it matters line.
- Click Download PDF. The file is marked DRAFT - not legal advice.
Demo data is fictional: the firm, Cedar Run Civil + Water, its people, and every record marked Fictional sample are made up. The rest of the archive is real public engineering documents, filed under the fictional firm's project names, and the RFQs are real public RFQs.
What a person still checks
- Counsel reviews every clause before signature.
- The legal fields, typed by a person.
- If the fee changes, it needs the principal's approval again before the package is ready.
