Current Example: a specification question. Question: What watertightness testing standard and leakage limit apply to the containment concrete structures? Answer: ACI 350.1, Testing Reinforced Concrete Structures for Watertightness. The maximum leakage allowed in the final 24-hour test is 0.05 percent of the test volume, cited to 2020-EV288-STR-Spec, p. 7 (Evergreen Containment Basin). Fictional sample firm. Real public records. The firm, project and file name are made up; the specification behind the file is a real public document.
Current Evidence you get: a source panel with the file name, the real document title, project and category, page, issuing organization, the passage highlighted on the page image, an OCR tag on scanned pages and a link to the original. It does not show revision, approval status or effective date; your named reviewer confirms those and checks each source.
Corpus prepares cited drafts; your qualified people check them and approve the work.

The firm track tests Corpus on one real pursuit. The owner track starts with a call, because the review work it would test is not built yet. Either way, we agree with you first which records to use, who reviews the output and which checks decide the result.
Firm track
For engineering firms: one real pursuit

Your PDFs, handled like project records.
- We work from a copy. Your originals are not touched. Nothing is installed and nothing connects to your systems unless you choose to run the pilot on a GPU box on your network.
- The copy is processed on our own GPU server or on a GPU box on your network, your choice, with an open-weight model. Nothing goes to a public AI API. Set up for you Corpus is cloud-agnostic: for the full deployment it runs on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or your own servers.
- Our commitment In the pilot, your files are never used to train or fine-tune a model. In full deployment, fine-tuning on your files happens only if you agree in writing.
- Only the people you name get access. In the pilot, a restricted project you name is left out of search for the Project Engineer role (roles are not yet tied to named people in the pilot). Set up for you Tying roles to your named people is part of full-deployment setup.
- Our commitment When the pilot ends, we delete the copy within 7 days and confirm it in writing. If you continue, we load from your live archive during setup.
Checks your team can run itself.
- Open any 10 citations. Each should land on the page that says it.
- Ask 3 questions you know the archive can’t answer. Corpus should say “Nothing on file”.
- Check the fee build line by line against your own spreadsheet.
- Search a restricted project you named as the Project Engineer role; nothing should come back.
- At the review call: did the go / no-go match what your principals would have decided, and how much of the SOQ draft survived your team’s edit?
If the answers are no, you stop there. The output is still yours.
These checks are demonstrations on your own files, not a security or accuracy certification.

We run your live RFQ through Corpus: go / no-go, SOQ draft, fee build. Your team tries cited search on its own archive.
Review and decide
Review call. You judge the output on your own pursuit and decide whether to continue.
Firm track terms, in writing.
- Credit: The $5,000 is credited toward setup if you sign a deployment within 60 days of the pilot's end.
- Scope: One pursuit and up to 3 years of your project PDFs. Anything more is priced in writing before work starts.
- RFQ setup: Setting up your RFQ in Corpus is part of the $5,000.
- Scans: text-searchable PDFs go in first. If much of your older work is scanned, we plan how to handle the scans with you on the call.
- Outputs: what the pilot produces for you, such as the scorecard, the SOQ draft and the fee build, is yours to keep, whether or not you continue.
- Our commitment When the pilot ends, we delete the copy within 7 days and confirm it in writing.
- Deployment timing: if you continue, the 6 to 8 weeks to go live start when the deployment agreement is signed.
Owner-track terms are agreed in writing after the call.

The $5,000 is credited toward setup if you sign a deployment within 60 days of the pilot's end. Full deployment: setup from $21,000, then $1,500–$2,000/mo. Deployed on your archive where it lives, live 6 to 8 weeks after the deployment agreement is signed, no per-user fees. Or stop after the review call; the output is yours to judge.

No RFQ open right now?

How much of our time does it take?
The pilot needs four things from your side: up to 3 years of your project PDFs (we work from a copy); the RFQ you are pursuing now; one 30-minute kickoff; and one review call at the end. Plan on about 4 hours of your team's time in total, plus the review call.
What if the archive doesn’t have the answer?
Corpus is designed to say “Nothing on file”. You see where your archive is thin, which is useful on its own.
Can we include scanned drawings?
Set up for you in the full deployment, scanned sheets are OCR’d as part of setup. For the pilot, text-searchable PDFs work best, so start with those. If your older work is mostly scans, tell us on the call and we will plan the pilot around it.
Does Corpus check our engineering calculations?
No. Corpus drafts and cites. Only the Principal role can approve a fee; Corpus records who approved (in the demo, the fictional Principal), the total and the time, and editing the fee clears the approval. Set up for you tying roles to named people is part of full-deployment setup. Corpus does not check hydraulic, structural or other engineering calculations; your engineers do.
