Contract review against your playbook
A client's draft agreement is checked against your contract playbook: Hard, Soft, matches and what the playbook does not cover. A person reads every clause.
What it does
Findings follow your playbook's rules by matching phrases. Each quotes the clause with its page in the draft, names the rule it matched and gives your fallback wording.
Who uses it
Contracts administrators, project managers and the principal. A project engineer sees Restricted.
Step by step in the demo

Open demo.salemwise.com/?path=principal in a browser on a laptop. The steps below are the ones we took on 2026-10-10, viewing as Priya Ramesh, PE (Principal).
- As Priya, click Desk in the dark bar under the header to open the Pursuit desk.
- Click Contract review. The document is the Wren Harbor client draft, a fictional sample.
- Read the counts at the top. In our run: 3 Hard, 2 Soft, 0 Matches and 5 not covered.
- Read each finding: the clause and its draft page, the playbook rule (for example R1, unlimited liability) with its page, and the fallback wording.
- Read the list under Not covered by your playbook: read these. No rule applies to those clauses.
- Click Flag for counsel, next to the DRAFT banner. It flags the whole draft for your attorney, not one clause, and the button changes to Flagged for counsel.
Demo data is fictional: the firm, Cedar Run Civil + Water, its people, and every record marked Fictional sample are made up. The rest of the archive is real public engineering documents, filed under the fictional firm's project names, and the RFQs are real public RFQs.
What a person still checks
- The demo labels the review DRAFT - not legal advice. It is not a legal opinion.
- Every clause, including the ones the playbook does not cover.
- The playbook is a fictional sample.
Added to the demo on Oct 3, 2026. See it in What's new: Contract review against your playbook.
