SOQ draft from your past projects
The SOQ builder follows the RFQ's items in order, drafts the ones your archive can support with page citations, and leaves the rest for a person to write.
What it does
The builder lists the SOQ items in the RFQ's order with a status for each, a page estimate against the RFQ's limit, and how many similar projects fall in the RFQ's five-year window. Draft writes an item from the archive with page citations.
Who uses it
Business development and marketing leads who assemble the SOQ, and the principal who signs it.
Step by step in the demo

Open demo.salemwise.com/?path=principal in a browser on a laptop. The steps below are the ones we took on 2026-10-10, viewing as Priya Ramesh, PE (Principal).
- Open the principal path and click SOQ under the RFQ line.
- Read the checklist at the top: the page estimate (0 of 20 pages before drafting), similar projects in the last 5 years, and each item's status, such as Needs input or Not drafted.
- On item 3, Experience with similar projects, click Draft. In our run it took under a minute.
- Read the draft. Claims carry page chips, and each project below it is marked within 5 years or older than 5 years.
- Fill in the You fill in fields yourself: the office and commitment in item 1, key staff in item 2 and references in item 5. Corpus does not write them.
Demo data is fictional: the firm, Cedar Run Civil + Water, its people, and every record marked Fictional sample are made up. The rest of the archive is real public engineering documents, filed under the fictional firm's project names, and the RFQs are real public RFQs.
What a person still checks
- Open each cited page. Drafts can be wrong, and the software does not check that every sentence is supported.
- Edit the wording. Our draft read like notes on the sources, not finished SOQ prose.
- Contacts, references and commitments are typed by a person.
Try it on your own documents
