Bid results, competitors and win/loss
See who won each pursuit and at what price, read cited write-ups on competitors, and save the lesson from each loss.
What it does
Bid results list each pursuit's ranks, scores, winner and negotiated amount, cited to the award record. Competitor profiles and the reasons for each loss are written by Corpus from the source pages.
Who uses it
Principals and business development leads. Everyone can read competitor profiles; award history needs the Principal or BD / Marketing role.
Step by step in the demo

Open demo.salemwise.com/?path=principal in a browser on a laptop. The steps below are the ones we took on 2026-10-10, viewing as Priya Ramesh, PE (Principal).
- As Priya, click Desk in the dark bar under the header to open the Pursuit desk.
- Click Bid results. Six fictional awards show rank, firm, score, result and negotiated amount, each cited.
- Read the note: Washington buys engineering on qualifications (RCW 39.80), so the price shown is the negotiated contract amount.
- Click Competitors. Each of three fictional rivals shows where they win, their people, and bids, wins and win rate against you from award records.
- Click Win/loss. Each loss shows the result and Why we lost, cited to the debrief letter.
- Type a lesson under the loss and click Save lesson. It says Saved, and that your notes stay with this visit and are never sent to the AI.
Demo data is fictional: the firm, Cedar Run Civil + Water, its people, and every record marked Fictional sample are made up. The rest of the archive is real public engineering documents, filed under the fictional firm's project names, and the RFQs are real public RFQs.
What a person still checks
- Open the cited page behind each reason before you act on it.
- The agencies, firms, people and amounts are a fictional sample.
Added to the demo on Oct 4, 2026. See it in What's new: Bid results, competitors, win/loss.
